There are 2 types of anti logger software; signature based and heuristic analysis. Signature based software has a list of all known keyloggers. Heuristic analysis software analyzes the work methods of all the modules on your PC. By not using signature bases, this software gives better keylogging protection but the downside is that it also blocks non keyloggers. This software is advised for more experienced users.

For protection from hackers and identity thieves, anti logging systems software is critical to online protection. While each type of software has some downsides, the level of general protection they offer is high and critical as a first level of defence against keyloggers.
